DIS \u2013 Together We Are Better<\/strong>\u00a0is a pan-European cultural and social initiative that began in\u00a0Cyprus in 2024<\/strong>\u00a0and is now expanding across Europe.<\/p>

The festival connects\u00a0art with inclusion, accessibility, and multiculturalism<\/strong>, promoting culture as a powerful bridge for\u00a0unity, democracy, and active social participation<\/strong>.<\/p>

Organised by the\u00a0Neofytos Cultural Organisation<\/strong>, the festival is developed in collaboration with leading\u00a0cultural, academic, and institutional partners<\/strong>\u00a0in Cyprus and across Europe. Its dynamic growth is reflected through both\u00a0confirmed partnerships<\/strong>\u00a0and ongoing collaborations with new supporters and organisations.<\/p>

Our goal is to create a strong network of collective action that advances\u00a0inclusion<\/strong>, strengthens\u00a0cultural accessibility<\/strong>, and promotes the visibility of\u00a0Cyprus and Europe<\/strong>\u00a0through\u00a0art, education, and shared cultural experiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Festival Organiser: Neofytos Cultural Organisation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The\u00a0Neofytos Cultural Organisation<\/strong>\u00a0is a Cyprus-based nonprofit working to build a society where\u00a0no one is left out<\/strong>. With a strong focus on\u00a0people with disabilities<\/strong>, the organisation promotes inclusion through culture and education, supports accessibility in public and cultural spaces, and encourages meaningful collaboration between people with and without disabilities\u2014turning awareness into real change.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The organisation is named in memory of\u00a0Neophytos Antoniou<\/strong>, a thirteen-year-old from Limassol who passed away from astrocytoma in 2013. The name also carries a symbolic meaning, rooted in ancient Greek and linked to the idea of being \u201cnewly born\u201d, representing\u00a0renewal, growth, and hope<\/strong>\u2014values that reflect the festival\u2019s mission to overcome exclusion and create equal opportunities for all.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
