About the Festival

DIS – Together We Are Better is a pan-European cultural and social initiative that began in Cyprus in 2024 and is now expanding across Europe.

The festival connects art with inclusion, accessibility, and multiculturalism, promoting culture as a powerful bridge for unity, democracy, and active social participation.

Organised by the Neofytos Cultural Organisation, the festival is developed in collaboration with leading cultural, academic, and institutional partners in Cyprus and across Europe. Its dynamic growth is reflected through both confirmed partnerships and ongoing collaborations with new supporters and organisations.

Our goal is to create a strong network of collective action that advances inclusion, strengthens cultural accessibility, and promotes the visibility of Cyprus and Europe through art, education, and shared cultural experiences.

Festival Organiser: Neofytos Cultural Organisation

The Neofytos Cultural Organisation is a Cyprus-based nonprofit working to build a society where no one is left out. With a strong focus on people with disabilities, the organisation promotes inclusion through culture and education, supports accessibility in public and cultural spaces, and encourages meaningful collaboration between people with and without disabilities—turning awareness into real change.

The organisation is named in memory of Neophytos Antoniou, a thirteen-year-old from Limassol who passed away from astrocytoma in 2013. The name also carries a symbolic meaning, rooted in ancient Greek and linked to the idea of being “newly born”, representing renewal, growth, and hope—values that reflect the festival’s mission to overcome exclusion and create equal opportunities for all.
